So grateful for your sensitive work to revive this great episode in photos and text.

Harriet andradehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01837414486955582173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5798100510903177633.post-27062251990464337392018-08-03T20:50:05.643-07:002018-08-03T20:50:05.643-07:00Excellent episode, great write-up. I'm not sure how ancient I am, but I'm not American so I've never seen The Brady Bunch. It's always odd when actors you know well from one thing turn up in another. I'm glad you enjoyed the recap :-)Aconitum-Napellushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02132750527925948980noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5798100510903177633.post-75555536458950609442017-12-06T03:13:49.033-08:002017-12-06T03:13:49.033-08:00Thank you :-) It was an amazing episode.Thank you :-) It was an amazing episode.Aconitum-Napellushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02132750527925948980noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5798100510903177633.post-45222567965604379072016-07-03T20:02:06.656-07:002016-07-03T20:02:06.656-07:00This was a very touching episode. A couple of things I noticed: Orlov is played by Alice-the-maid's boyfriend Sam-the-butcher (from the Brady Bunch, if you're not as ancient as I am), so at first I found it difficult to believe him as a malevolent character. But Allan Melvin did an excellent job being hateful-- and did you catch his simian arm swings as he ran? Nice touch. I also smiled at the radio announcer's segue after the "monkey man of Russian Hill" newsflash: "We now return to the music of Nelson Riddle." heh. Thanks again, and I'll be checking out the Ohio 66 site, as well!
Cheers,
Jeanjeanlasshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14810740166634150059noreply@blogger.com
