Merry Christmas

I've been very busy writing a novel all through November and December. I hope I will have it finished soon and will be able to get back to watching Route 66 and doing some more episode analyses.

For now, here's a selection of Christmas pictures - some Route 66 and a couple not. Such a shame these photos don't go with a Route 66 Christmas episode!

Co-stars (l to r) George Maharis and Martin Milner find Christmas along "Route 66" as pulchritudinous "Santa" (Chris Ramsay) joins them when they pause momentarily from their travels along the highway.

More from that same photoshoot.

And a little more, a cropped version of the above.

Martin Milner as Pete Malloy in Adam-12, looking like he's about to play Good Cop, Bad Cop.

Pete Malloy (Martin Milner) and Jim Reed (Kent McCord) arresting Santa in Adam-12

George Maharis and Barbara Barrie. I don't know what this is from, and it needs cleaning up, but it's Chrismassy!

George Maharis and a Christmas tree. I don't know what this is from.

A little poor photomanipulation. I like to think that this is when Tod and Buz meet up for Christmas, after Tod left his wife and changed his name to Pete to stop her tracking him down ;-)

Early Route 66 Promos - the Boys and the Corvette

George Maharis jumps from the Corvette

"Marty Milner (left) and George Maharis, co-stars of Screen Gems' new, hour long "Route 66" adventure series on CBS-TV, Fridays, at 8:30 P.M., pause in their travels to cast admiring glances at an unidentified but obviously welcome hitchhiker."

This is the same as the above image, but a not so cropped for height, but more cropped for width. You can't win...

Another of the jumping from the Corvette shots, probably the most famous.

This shows more natural colours than the shot above, but in lower resolution.

That Japanese record cover edited into something approaching a photo.
